    Explore, by bicycle, the scenic lighthouses, gingerbread cottages, artists’ colonies, tranquil beaches and seafood delights of Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard Massachusetts. Along the way, serene marshes, sweeping dunes, and breathtaking shores are your backdrop. During one scenic spin after another, refreshing salt air and ocean breezes invigorate. Unspoiled seashores and protected wetlands inspire. A trip over to Martha’s Vineyard and a day off-bike will round out this cycling vacation.

    WHAT TO EXPECT:

    This is a fully supported tour with indoor accommodations, meals in local establishments, on-route SAG, and we transport your luggage. Bike paths along Boston, Provincetown, and Cape Cod Canal are known for its flatter and scenic terrain. Pedaling along the beautiful bike paths you will experience the seascapes, thousands upon thousands of waterfowl and seabirds, and the unique rustic architecture of local beach homes and seafood shacks. Daily mileages range from 29 – 40 miles. Bike rentals are available. Temperatures in the area range from the mid 50’s in the evening to the upper 70’s during the day.

    Highlights:

    • Cycle the on the Minuteman Bike Trail, “America's Revolutionary Bike Trail” into Boston.

    • Visit many of the traditional New England lighthouses along the route.

    • Explore one of the Oldest Art Colony in America, Provincetown arts and gallery shops as well as the artisans and handicrafts of Martha’s Vineyard.

    • Cycle the rural countryside on the many bike trails in the region viewing marshes, ponds, cranberry bogs, and picturesque vistas.

    • Cycle the Minuteman Bike Trail, Cape Cod Rail Trail, Shining Sea Bikeway, Province Lands Bike Trail, a bike path extension to the town of Chatham, bike paths along the Cape Cod Canal and various bike paths around Martha’s Vineyard.

    • Enjoy cheese & wine tastings and a cranberry bog tour; seasonal highlights of the region.

    • Cycle to the historic Plymouth Rock to see where the Pilgrims departed their boats.
